Vietnam and Cambodia are tightening controls on 'origin washing', strengthening supervision of origin and transshipment.

India has launched 12 anti-dumping and countervailing investigations into Chinese goods in a short period.

Several countries have revised import access requirements covering licensing, customs facilitation and trade remedies.

What it means for exporters

  • If you use Southeast Asian transshipment or third-country origin, re-check origin compliance to avoid circumvention findings.
  • For India-bound categories, track the anti-dumping investigations and duty changes.
  • Verify the latest market-access requirements before shipment.
